Research

Dr. Gilbert-Walsh is currently revising his book manuscript on Heidegger’s conception of the “We”. He has also begun a project on the phenomenology of gesture.

Areas of Interest

Dr. Gilbert-Walsh’s research interests include German Idealism, 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy (Phenomenology and Hermeneutics, in particular), and the history of ethical and political thought. He is also interested in hermeneutic approaches to investigating the history of philosophy.
