Dr. Gilbert-Walsh was born and raised near St. Louis, Missouri. He received a bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University and an MA and PhD from the University of Toronto. His doctoral dissertation, supervised by Rebecca Comay and defended in 1999, is entitled “Heidegger and the Question of Community.”
