Counsellors

When choosing a counsellor, consider their availability, areas of specialty, and lived experience. If there is a particular struggle you want to work on in counselling, you can look for a counsellor who identifies that struggle within their areas of specialty. Also, some people are more comfortable going to a counsellor with similarities in lived experienced; you can learn more about the counsellors listed below on their websites.

Counsellors set up to direct bill through the Student Health Benefit Plan (Campus Trust):

Direct billing is an arrangement between a health insurance provider (e.g., Campus Trust) and a counsellor where the counsellor sends bills for services directly to your health insurance provider. This means that you do not have to pay out of pocket for your counselling session, submit a claim to your health insurance provider, and wait to be reimbursed.
