Nominations Open: International Student Leader Award
Nominations are now being accepted for the St. Thomas University Fall 2021 International Student Leadership Award.
Presented in partnership with St. Thomas University Students’ Union and the International Office.
Terms of Reference:
We invite all St. Thomas University students to put forward nominations for the STU Fall 2021 International Student Leadership Award. This award will be given to an international student who has greatly contributed to St. Thomas University and/or the greater Fredericton area through leadership and community engagement.
A selection committee comprised of the International Student Coordinator, International Student Representative and International Academic Advisor will review the nominations and select the successful award recipient based on the criteria outlined below. The successful candidate will be awarded a plaque with their name engraved on it.
- All nominees must be enrolled as a full-time student at St. Thomas University and meet a minimum requirement of a 3.0 GPA.
- Each nomination must include a written statement (250 to maximum of 500 words) clearly demonstrating the contributions the nominee has made to the STU and Fredericton communities, outlining how the student exemplifies engagement and leadership.
- Each nomination must be supported by two other St. Thomas University students’ signatures.
Please note that self-nominations will not be accepted.
