Participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement

First-year and fourth-year STUdents are encouraged to participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement—share your student experience for a chance to win a $500 tuition voucher!

Beginning on February 3, first- and fourth-year students at St. Thomas will be invited to participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). NSSE helps us understand how students are spending time in and out of the classroom, providing essential information about the student experience to guide decisions that will benefit STU students.

If you are a first- or fourth-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Applied Arts student, check your STU email for an invitation from NSSE and President Dawn Russell. In appreciation for participating, all students who complete the survey by March 31 will be entered into a draw for a $500 tuition waiver to apply to their 2019-20 fees (or an equivalent payment if fees are already paid in full). Your chances of winning depend on how many complete the survey; the last time we administered this survey, about 470 students responded.   Based on this estimate, your odds of winning are one in 470.

If you have any questions about this project at St. Thomas University or how we plan to use the results, please contact Garry Hansen, Director of Institutional Research and Planning, at hansen@stu.ca or 506-452-0600.
