St. Thomas University’s US Student Tuition Program offers students from the US an incredible opportunity to pursue a world class liberal arts education and explore an international experience close to home—at an affordable cost.

US students coming to STU are eligible to pay Canadian tuition - $6,401 USD* per year.**

Note: To be eligible for the US Tuition Program at STU, participating students are required to live in residence for their first year.

Applying to STU from the US
- Common App: Find STU on the Common App or apply at STU.ca/applynow.
- FAFSA: Complete a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) for the applicable academic year. The federal school code for STU is: G06682.

STU is Canada's only institution primarily dedicated to the liberal arts—offering 25+ social science and humanities disciplines in which students can major, in addition to various minor and elective course options. In small classes - capped at 60 students, but with an average of 23 students - you will learn from faculty who are experts in their fields, with 99% of our faculty holding the highest degree in their field.
We have an intimate and supportive campus, with a 5 minute or less walk to any residence, class, or dining space. During your studies, you can take advantage of paid and credit-based internships, career development, and certificates to bolster your resume and network alike. We also offer students opportunities through Moot Court, Model UN, Harvard Business School, and other organizations to maximize your undergraduate studies.
