Research

Dr. Ranger is currently working on Hellenistic epistemology. His project reconstructs and assesses the central arguments of Epicurus’ theory of scientific knowledge, a theory that starts from the claim that all sense impressions are true.

Previously, Dr. Ranger has published on the foundational values in Ancient ethics, Aristotelian ethics and political philosophy, as well as Epicurean ethics.
