Student United Way Seeking Menstrual Hygiene Donations

The Student United Way is seeking menstrual hygiene donations for Tampon Tuesday—an initiative that aims to assist those in poverty and protect their dignity.

 

Tampon Tuesday is an initiative that was first founded in 2009 in honour of International Women's Day. Now, we collect monetary donations and menstrual hygiene products for people, regardless of gender, who find themselves in need.

 

Boxes for donations of menstrual hygiene products will be placed at the JDH help desk, the first floor of George Martin Hall, and the Dr. Daniel O'Brien Study Hall until Friday, March 4. Monetary contributions will be accepted through United Way's website until Monday, March 7.
