How to Apply: 

In a letter, describe why you feel you are qualified to receive the award(s) you are applying for based on the criteria listed for each individual award.  Letters are to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office (GMH 101 or registrarsoffice@stu.ca) by Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Available Scholarships and Bursaries in Winter 2022

CFUW Fredericton Adult Learner Scholarship, Value: $2000 

Criteria: Awarded annually in January to a female full-time student from New Brunswick who was admitted to the University as an adult learner, and who has successfully completed the first year (a minimum of 30 credit hours) of the BA program.  Selection is based on academic achievement. 

CFUW Fredericton Scholarship, Value: $2000 

Criteria: Awarded annually in January to a female full-time student from the province of New Brunswick in the second or third year of an undergraduate degree program.  Selection will be on the basis of academic achievement (GPA). 
 
Chinese Cultural Association of New Brunswick Scholarship, Value: $1000 

Criteria:  Awarded annually to a returning full-time student with an annual GPA of 3.3 or higher who has demonstrated a commitment to, and involvement with, the Chinese community and multicultural activities.  This scholarship is open to students in any department or program. 

Fredericton Community Foundation Bursary, Value: $4000 

Criteria: Awarded annually, based on financial need, to a student in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year who is a graduate of Harvey High School, Stanley High School, Oromocto High School, Fredericton High School, Leo Hayes High School or Ecole Ste-Anne. 

Kay Robinson Award, Value: $1000 

Criteria: Awarded annually to a full-time student in their third or fourth year or in the B.Ed. program, who is a single parent.  Selection is based on academic achievement 
 

Paul W. Dawson Memorial Bursary, Value: $1000 
Criteria: Awarded annually in second semester to a full-time student on the basis of financial need with preference given to students enrolled in either the Bachelor of Education program or the Bachelor of Arts program with an emphasis on political science.  Preference will be given to students from Miramichi, New Brunswick
