Wabanaki Student Centre

Located on the traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik, the Wabanaki Student Centre is a home-away-from-home for students on campus. The centre provides Indigenous students with a culturally and spiritually rich environment for academic and personal support and is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive place for all students to study, socialize, learn, participate in events, activities, and build community.

You can find the centre on the top of floor of James Dunn Hall.

Wabanaki Wednesdays

Every Wednesday during the school year students can gather in the Wabanaki Student Centre at lunchtime to share a free homecooked meal. This also serves as an opportunity to check in with the Indigenous Student Services team, speak with Miigam’agan (the Elder-in-Residence) and make connections with other students. Everyone is welcome!
