Dr. Vose’s latest research on the history of medieval and early modern book censorship can be found in The Index of Prohibited Books (London: Reaktion Books, 2022).

In collaboration with the Rare Books Library at the University of Notre Dame Dr. Vose has also designed a website presentation of historical sources for the study of Inquisition History: https://inquisition.library.nd.edu/collections/RBSC-INQ:COLLECTION.

He is currently working on a survey of inquisition sources residing in archival and library collections around the globe, including close studies of the inquisitorial manuals of Bernard Gui and Nicholas Eymeric. Dr. Vose continues to research the history of censorship, as well as crusades, missions, inquisitions, and other forms of interreligious conflict in both the “New” and “Old” Worlds.
