Brad Cross is Professor of History at St. Thomas University, where he is an award winning teacher in the World History Program. Trained in comparative urban history, his research has explored global networks among planned company towns that were established by multinational corporations in mining and resource industries. He teaches courses in US History, North American Urban History, Histories on Screen, and Material History & Museum Studies. His latest project is a social/cultural history of the 20th Century World using the “invention,” production, and application of the metal aluminum in everyday life.
