Moot Court

STU offers one of few undergraduate Moot Court experiences in the country. Earn academic credit and gain experience writing legal briefs and preparing arguments, which you will present in simulated courtroom environments around the world.

Model United Nations

Travel and participate with your class as delegates at the Harvard Model United Nations and volunteer with the John Peters Humphrey Model United Nations, hosted by STU.

Work with professors on research projects — something reserved for graduate students at larger institutions.

STU Cares Day of Action

STU Cares Day of Action is a yearly event that embodies STU’s spirit of service. Volunteer teams of students go out into the community to learn about the work of a local community organization and do hands-on work to support it. Volunteers work on issues such as poverty, food security, environmental preservation, homelessness, domestic violence, youth, and community building (to name a few).

Indigenous Experiential Learning

Indigenous Experiential Learning connects Indigenous and non-Indigenous students through hands-on learning, which enhances their creativity, and personal and professional development.

We offer paid internship opportunities, career exploration opportunities, volunteering, and exposure to the rich culture and language of the Indigenous people of the Wabanaki Territory.

Through the Business and Social Entrepreneurship program, students develop their social enterprise ideas and present them at the Impact X summit — winners earn funding to support their business plans.
