Transgender day of remembrance is a day to observe and honour those who have lost their lives to hate and anti-transgender violence.

On November 20th we will take time out of our day to remember those we have lost.

This year's ceremony will take place in person in the Kinsella Auditorium, McCain Hall.

The ceremony will begin at 3pm. There will be presentations from guest speakers followed by the presentation of the names. We will end by offering a minute of silence.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Please note that all individuals must be in compliance with STU's vaccination policy. Vaccination records (or the UNB/STU safe app) and ID will be checked at the entrance. Masks must be worn while inside and physical distancing shall be maintained where possible.

This ceremony will also be offered virtually on The 203’s Facebook Page for folks who are unable to attend in person.
