Ready, Set, Study! Join us on campus for a final sprint to the finish line as you enter exam period!



Throughout the day, study on campus to take advantage of dedicated study spaces, healthy snacks at the STUdent Help Desk, and self-guided yoga. Off-campus students are also invited for a complimentary dinner in the GMH Dining Hall, by registering here. To fuel a late-night study session, there will also be FREE coffee and hot chocolate available on the main floor of JDH after Tim Hortons closes. Whether you need a quiet place to concentrate, or a small push to get you to the finish line, this on-campus study day is the perfect way to stay on track and feel ready for exam season! 

 

What to expect:

 

  • Study spaces for you at STU: 
    • JDH G5, GMH 304, MMH 203, BMH 103, ECH 120 all open from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM 
    • JDH Building and MMH Study Hall open from 8:00 AM-11:00 PM 
  • Pomodoro Power Up from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM in JDH G1 and G2 
    • Need to catch up on readings, finish that paper, or just stay on top of your workload? Come join us for a full day of focused study using the Pomodoro Technique a proven method to boost productivity without burning out.  

  • Study snacks available at the STUdent Help Desk in JDH from 9:00 AM, all day! 

  • Self-Guided Yoga in the JB O’Keefe available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM 
    • Take a break from studying to practice wellness by heading to the JB O’Keefe squash courts and snagging a mat. Find your own Zen and get back in the zone!  

  • Free Coffee and Hot Chocolate available after 7:00 PM in the JDH Cafeteria (while supplies last).


  • Free printing all day, with the JDH Computer Lab open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. To print for free, go to webprint.stu.ca and log in using 'stuguest' with the password 'longnight' 

  • Free Dinner with special desserts from between 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the GMH Dining Hall. The dining hall is open until 9:00 PM, but some food stations close after 6:30 PM.
    • Please fill out this form to register for a free on-campus dinner for off-campus students who are studying on campus in preparation for their exams on Wednesday, December 10.  By filling out the form, you will be entitled to enter the GMH Dining Hall for a free meal, on Wednesday, December 10 (this offer is valid for one day only). Registration is not required, but strongly recommended, so that catering can be planned accordingly.
