Spring Up Fashion Show

As part of their sustainability initiative, Spring Up, Enactus STU is hosting an event called the Spring Up Fashion Show.

This educational event will showcase donated clothing and upcycled items created by STU alumni and current students. Their goal is to promote sustainable practices, reduce waste, and raise awareness about the social issues associated with fast fashion.

This fashion show not only promotes sustainable clothing practices but also serves as a platform to address critical social issues. During the event, we will run a campaign called “The Faces Behind Fast Fashion” to highlight how fashion companies exploit female workers in the Global South to produce low-cost clothing. Our amazing team has researched the working conditions and human rights violations in the countries where some of these brands operate, and we’ll share those findings during the event.

Incentive: $50 gift card will be awarded to a winner chosen from those who respond to our questions at the end.
