Social workers with advanced knowledge and skills are in demand in New Brunswick and across Canada.

Beginning in 2023, the School of Social Work will offer a full-time two-year Master of Social Work for applicants with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the social sciences. This new pathway will include one year of foundational social work studies followed by one year of advanced course work in the Master of Social Work program.

The St. Thomas University Master of Social Work Program specializes in advanced direct practice skills and challenging workplace practicums.

Join us for our virtual presentation and discussion about the MSW program. Learn more about the program and the admission requirements for the new BA to MSW pathway to an MSW degree.

Contact our Office Coordinator, Pauline McIntyre – pmcintyre@stu.ca for more information and to receive an invitation to the MS Teams Meeting.
