Ms. Mariama Aidoo and Professor Josephine Savarese will address the main elements of s. 14 of the Charter which grants the right to an interpreter in legal proceedings. The co-facilitated presentation will highlight leading cases, as well as recent jurisprudence. Comparisons will be made with interpreter rights in other jurisdictions.
