Land and Sea: A CBC Waves of Change public screening and discussion

CBC producer Jane Adey will present the Land and Sea documentary, Ocean Devotion, featuring the efforts of residents and business owners in the historic seaside town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, to reduce consumption of single use plastics through community programs and individual actions. 

Following the screening of Ocean Devotion, we will hear from local panelists including CBC SHIFT producer Viola Pruss, who will speak about her own one-month personal challenge to eliminate single use plastic from her life. 

Audience members will be encouraged to ask questions and share their own ideas or initiatives. 

From individuals to industry, everyone can play a role in reducing consumption of single use plastic. The Land and Sea: CBC Waves of Change public screening and discussion aims to spark a conversation that is inspiring, encouraging, informative and locally relevant.
