  • 3:00 PM

  • Kinsella Auditorium

3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Kinsella Auditorium

Born and raised in the Fredericton area, Jenica Atwin has become a symbol of female leadership. Through her advocacy for community involvement, youth, and social justice, she is leading a grassroots movement unlike any other that has been seen in Fredericton. Consequently, this led her to win the 2019 Federal Election for the Fredericton Riding, earning her a position as Member of Parliament in Ottawa. She made history as the first Green Party MP elected outside British Columbia.

Her interests focus on Indigenous rights, environmental stewardship, poverty, homelessness, renewable energy, small business growth, criminal justice reforms, tax reforms, immigration, military and veteran supports.

Jenica will be speaking at STU about leadership and inspiring students to take on leadership roles on and off campus, and in their communities. Students will also have an opportunity to ask questions and engage in an open discussion on current affairs.

All are welcome to attend.
