Great Books Alumni Panel Discussion: "From Great Books to Great Careers"
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Atlantic
Join us for a virtual alumni panel discussion, hosted by the Great Books Program, "From Great Books to Great Careers".
The panelists will discuss how their experiences with the Great Books Program—reading difficult primary texts in an interdisciplinary, conversation-focused format—helped them develop in their careers. They will also share tips on how students in the humanities in general can describe the skills they already have for the workforce, and how they chose their specific careers in light of their broad liberal education. The panelists will also comment on the advantages of studying the great books for the job market.
The panel is open to prospective and current students.
