Join us Friday, February 7 at 7:00 PM in McCain Hall room 101 for a recital featuring Demian Schwarcz and the STU Singers Songwriting Ensemble. 

Pianist Demian Schwarcz's career spans two decades performing classical music, jazz, bossa nova, tango, rock and folklore. He performed in Argentinean TV, and internationally in Brazil, Germany, Holland, France, and the USA.
 
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1975, he began his piano studies at age 9. He has a Maestro Nacional de Música degree from Conservatorio Juan Pedro Esnaola and a Piano Jazz Specialization from Escuela de Música Popular de Avellaneda, both in Argentina. His main teachers were Violeta de Gainza, Santiago Giacobbe, and Hilda Herrera.
