On the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Wall and the Peaceful Revolution in Germany on November 9, 1989 the University of New Brunswick Department of Culture and Media Studies proudly presents an exhibition to commemorate this historic event.  ‘The Wall. A Border Through Germany’ is an exhibition on the history of the German Democratic Republic’s border regime along the Berlin Wall and the inner-German border. The exhibition was produced and published by the Federal Foundation for the Study of Communist Dictatorship in East Germany and the newspapers BILD and DIE WELT and has been made available for historical-political educational purposes.

 

The 20 Poster Exhibition will be available for viewing between November 17, 2019 – February 1, 2020 in the UNB Tilley Hall Foyer.

 

A Reception will be held in the UNB Tilley Hall Foyer on Friday, November 22 at 12 pm. All are welcome!
