Biography

I grew up attending theatre in Toronto and across southern Ontario before writing and directing my own plays in high school, undergrad, and graduate school. Before coming to St. Thomas University, I earned an Honours BA in English with a Theatre General Major and Co-op Option (WLU 1999), an MA in Drama (U Alberta 2003), and a PhD in Drama (U Toronto 2010). When I’m not teaching, researching, creating, writing about, or presenting on theatre, I play guitar, take photographs, play a couple of sports, and enjoy spending time with family.
