STUdents love the sense of community that each residence fosters - so we invite you to become part of your house community prior to Welcome Week! This event will enable you to meet other incoming STUdents who will be living in your residence. We simply want to help you get to know the people with whom you will be sharing your home away from home.
International STUdent Event: Preparing for August (Morning Session)

This webinar will focus on topics that are most integral for incoming international students and their supporters to be aware of prior to August. Flight information, important dates and deadlines, required documentation, and more will be discussed, with ample time for Q&A to ensure anything you're wondering about is answered before the webinar's conclusion.

Please join us for a pre-departure webinar that is aimed at providing you with the information you need to have a successful, stress-free trip to campus. In addition to having a brief presentation, this session will afford attendees the opportunity to pose any questions they have to current staff members and international STUdents.

Welcome Week is an exciting time to forge new relationships, experience new things, and learn about yourself. With all of the opportunities that come with Welcome Week, what is meant to be a fun week can become nerve-wracking and overwhelming – especially for STUdents who simply do not know what to expect. This session will help incoming STUdents learn what options will be available to them, what advice current STUdents have for them, and what they may wish to consider as they navigate this new, exciting chapter in their lives.
Prepare for STUdent Life: Aiming for Academic Success at University

St. Thomas University is known across the country for its unique approach to education and emphasis on the liberal arts. While embarking on post-secondary studies is exciting, we oftentimes hear incoming STUdents’ concerns about the workload and rigor associated with university-level coursework. This session is aimed to answer your questions about university-level academics at STU, while also giving you advice and direction to ensure you make the most of your post-secondary studies here from day one. Current STUdents, faculty, and staff members will be on-hand to impart their wisdom and address any concerns you have before the start of the academic year.
