Dr. Christine Cornell is known for her extraordinary commitment to her students and effective classroom and communication skills. She began teaching at St. Thomas University in 1997 and has published several manuscripts and conference papers on effective teaching. In the classroom she uses innovative teaching methods such as mock-trials, in-class magazines, play commentaries, scene performances, talk-show interviews and creative writing assignments as she engages students and begins them on a path of continuous learning.
In her time at St. Thomas, she has also co-founded the St. Thomas Early English Drama Society and co-directed its first three productions. She was also instrumental in establishing the Great Ideas Programme and is the founder and co-ordinator of the successful Great Ideas Executive Seminar.
