2001 - Dr. Dev Gupta

Dr. Gupta received his BA from India’s Gujarat University, an MA from the University of Delhi, and an MA and a Ph.D. from McMaster. He has been teaching economics at St. Thomas since 1985.

He won the St. Thomas University Scholarship Award in 1998, and the Students’ Union Excellence in Teaching award in 2000, which is determined by a student vote. Dr. Gupta’s major fields of research are Globalization and Development, and Econometric Modeling and Policy Analysis.
